A true hometown Christmas experience. Downtown comes alive with festive shopping, glowing trees at the Courthouse, Santa visits, the Grinch causing mischief, Frosty hands out popcorn balls, tractor rides - one of our town's favorite traditions.

Rooster rush

At the start of pheasant season, banded pheasants will be released throughout Hand County. Harvest one and redeem the leg band for a prize from a participating member business.

The grand finale to Christmas on the Prairie. A festive parade filled with brightly lit floats, local businesses, and holiday spirit — lighting up downtown and wrapping up the season with classic small-town magic.
